Celebrating a birthday or looking for the perfect idea for an extra special day trip? A Highland Cow Experience at Kersheugh farm will take you on a trailer ride into the field where you can take in the stunning Scottish Borders scenery and get to meet our small fold (herd) of highland cows.
The guided part of your trip will last approximately 1 hour and on return to the farm steading, you will be able to take a self-guided walk around our designated visitor paddocks and enjoy the farm at your leisure.
There will be tea, coffee and ice creams available in the farm yard and there is of course toilets and hand washing facilities too. We look forward to showing you our farm!

One carer is admitted free of charge per paying ticket but carers do count towards the maximum group size (12 people, adults or children).

We're really looking forward to welcoming you to the farm for your highland cow experience!
You will be met in the farmyard by Fenwick or myself (Jasmine) and we will guide you on a visit to feed the highland cows. We are happy to answer as many farming questions as you have.
The farmer led part of your experience will last 30 minutes and afterwards you’re welcome to have a walk around the rest of our visitor area and meet the other animals.
We have toilets, picnic areas & teas and coffees available in the yard.
